If you have read some of my posts on here then you will know that I am not one for being nice for the sake of being polite so please don't take my comments below personal as away form TSF I run a website development firm and one that produces very good results for my clients.

If you want anybody to find the website and indeed the club then do the following with out questioning or hesitation.

    1. Ditch the flash (You will not be indexed on Google if you have a flash website unless you got £1M to spend on advertising)
    2. Put the navigation on to every page.
    3. Read about Accessibility (Access Keys, Tab Index's, Skip Navigation etc)
    4. If you do not have the graphical skills then goto Template Monster and get a £50 template, yeha 1k other people will have the same website as you but atleast it will not look like a 12 year old has designed it in his mums spare room (Sorry Ali !!!)
    5. If all else fails, get a pro to do it, we design websites for a reason and that reason is ........ we know what we are doing.
    6. If you can not afford a professional then go get someone who had the skill and is desperate for the cash, www.Scriptlance.com

I have always wondered what's the feedback regarding sites that use some sort of music background. Whether it's for the whole duration of the visit or just for the navigation.
It's positive that you have choosen something related to snooker, but it's a huge pet peeve of mine when it comes to visiting sites.

That's the only major thing that has caught my ear. There are better suited people for the technical aspects.
Robbo's potting is so good he doesn't need to bother with positional play like the rest of the players. He laughs in the face of those who spend hours on the practice table perfecting their cue ball control! ~ Forman

        I would also suggest removing that music as I am sure the website does not have a PRS license to stream copyrighted music and it will not be the club who gets in trouble it would be who ever lives at this address;

As that is the address of the registrant of the domain.

come on ferret is no idiot, he is sound on his knowledge of web laws and how to build pro looking sites..

dont call him names, work with him not against him, he could be a hell of a lot of help to you with that site

(and the only idiot is the one putting unlicensed music on a website then advertising it!!!)

I will not give you another chance after swearing on the forum so make sure you go and read the forum rules over again.

The address which is associated with the website is a matter of public domain and can be found with any whois search on the net, for instance http://whois.sc/theqclub.co.uk so there is no need to take it off.

i apologise for my language , and i agree im going to take music off, so even though our club has a prs music thingy to play music in its premises it will not cover us on the net, but believe me after being robbed b4 i do not wish my address to be on here, pls remove , now i know its common knowledge that you can find the website administrators address with a quik search but it does not mean you can print it on here , thats just wrong in so many ways ,

what is wrong with posting the adress of someone breaking copyright laws?

as you agreed the address is in the public domain as registered address for the site, maybe you should have done the site as registered at the club and not your address then??? little lesson in net ettiqute and laws there... (dont put other companies addresses as your home one)

sorry to hear you have been robbed previous, but trust me you aint the only one on here to have been burgled, its happened to me too, but im not borthered about my addy being put up on here, theres sod all of value left to be taken!!! (my cue is hidden properly)

I have taken the address off but for future note all you had to do was ask nicely in the first place.
