    Hi all,

    http://jimbozone.wordpress.com/

Here's my blog. Most posts are about my snooker sessions and how I'm constantly trying to improve my game, things I try, practicing, mental game etc. Might be interesting to someone, who knows!

just had a peek (got interested of course after the Spock music incident, it is not on there though, is it?)
interesting! And your HB is 145, considering that there are players on the main tour with highest breaks of just over 100...
might get back to you on the gaming part, kids (and their grandma) are lobbying for a Wii

I read a good few of the snooker session entries, I thought they were very interesting! There's certainly a lot there that I can relate to, especially regarding confidence.
Some days can be good and then others you feel that you can't do anything right.
Some good breaks in there anyway.
If you do find a cure for twitches, please let us know!

        Thanks for your replies!

Yeah I guess my main problem has been that I started out with a bad technique, and never really tried to improve it until it was too late. This is why (I believe) I'm so inconsistent. Trying to change my technique now is really hard and feels so un-natural, and to be honest I don't enjoy it as much as I do when I play "freely", which I guess is what's its all about.

I'm reading a couple of good books at the moment which I'll post reviews of once I've finished them... one is "The Inner Game of Golf" by Tim Gallwey and the other is "The Pleasures of Small Motions" by Bob Fancher. These two books deal with the mental side of sport but interestingly they both seem to occasionally contradict each other's theories. Definitely some enlightening stuff in them tho!
