Got mine today on PS2. Pre-ordered from GAME on monday and saved a fiver too (due to my reward card redeem thing) Not had a chance to play yet but gonna soon.

Hendry no PC version unfortunately Dunno why myself. Would have been good too.......but oh well. Maybe at somepoint in the future tho who knows.

Hi, The game is out for Playstation 2, Xbox 360 and PSP. And then PS3 in March. Plus, if any of you guys are interested, Steve Davis is doing a signing and trickshot session tomorrow in-store in GAME in Leeds to help launch the game. Hopefully we'll have a comp on here with games as prizes too.

I really think this is a great game. Perhaps the aim method a little easier than the last game but that's good. The Pool side seems really lifelike to me. I don't think anybody will be disappointed.

hi, the last game on ps2 was really slow when you were taking a shot, has that been changed this time?

ive got the ps2 and 360 versions...

...and my question is, im sure this wasnt the case in the older versions.....ive noticed that medium and hard AI players (ie all the top 64 players...) are unavailable for quickplay and versus modes..................u can only choose from players classed as 'easy' ai players.....

it seems they need to be unlocked which is a real bugger as the likenesses of the players in the screenshots for 2007 version look fantastic.......so there is no way of even sitting back and watching cpu vs cpu (ie Ronnie vs Hendry) in this version until either they have been unlocked or a cheat is avaialble.............

can anyone else here confirm that i have got this correct, becuase maybe i am overseeing something in the options....

You might be only allowed to chose the players outside the top 64 on easy. Maybe if you change it to medium or hard then you can get the higher ranked players. I am purchasing the game later today so if I find out the definate way then i'll let everyone know

what i meant was...

....it only lets you choose from EASY cpu players, it seems u have to unlock well known players............and this is whether u want to play AS them or against them...

whenever i get the latest versions of any snooker game in this series, I like to put it into an exhibition mode and sit back and see how good the AI of the cpu players are, and normally you can choose any of the top players in the world.............this 2007 version seems clever in the fact that u need to work hard to gain access to these top players....pity, cos at present there are no achievement lists or cheats anywhere online i can find, because i have spent all day and so far only unlocked 4 cues!!!

u will see what i mean when u play it..................got to say though, even though i havent seen these players yet the graphics of 'lesser' player (and i have seen, by playing against in Nth Ireland Qualifiers...Barry Pinches, who i recognise and EVEN FOR HIM as a very low ranked player the likeness is INCREDIBLE....).....is superb, and the arenas, tables, even the initial room where u choose ya game style is PURE CLASS and amazing.

also, the COACH u can ask for a hint on ANY SHOT, if u keep asking it to give u another demo of how IT would play it, always does a slightly different shot each time, proving that the AI in this even for the coach is not only NEURAL NET, its out of this world.

and no, i dont work for Blade/Sega (hehe), what with all my compliments, otherwise i would have some cheat for unlocking them already!!!!

i got the game yesterday and am really enjoying it. Not tried the online game yet.
One thing i have noticed though is that the normal billiard game has a major problem. They have put the red on the pink spot and keep putting it back after everytime it's been potted. Infact, it should be on the black spot from the beginning and placed back on the black spot everytime it's been potted. Major cock up.

None of you seem disappointed (well ones that have replied) which is good. I'm not a spokesperson for sega/blade BTW Just a fan that really likes it. I'll play more on monday and perhaps try online (got stuff on this weekend so not gettin time)

...unlock some of the Pro players???

I've got some high breaks, reached early stages of tournys but still no option to choose them in versus mode...its still only allowing EASY ai players to be available............

After buying the game and playing it for an hour I am very very dissapointed with it. There are so many flaws and errors in the game. First of all the rankings in champioonship mode have made up players in it plus the rankings are very inacurate with Graeme Dott number 27 and Alan McManus number 13. I am very annoyed that the game has gone back to using fake players after the last three games had all the players bar Jimmy plus it says in the advetisments that there are 104 pros on it, well where are they? Also the writing on the screen is too small and when creating a new player I had to sit right infront of the television screen just to make out what it said. Another irritation is that the camera is too far away from the table when playing a shot so most of the time you have to guess the pathes of the balls.

It really is a huge let down!

...read my posts.....all those players ARE IN THE GAME.........BUT..........they seem to need to be unlocked, and for the life of me i dont know how as so far all i have unlocked is new cues (oh wow!) and i think some new tournaments.....plus ive added points to make my character better....

With this series of snooker games over the years one of the things i love to do is sit back and watch 2 top CPU players, say, Ronnie and Hendry, play each other, as i love the realistic and clever ai the game has got built into it, and this version is winding me up as so far ive STILL only got the 'EASY' level CPU players available in Versus mode...........ok, ive played MARK WILLIAMS in a qualifier and nearly played Higgins, but it would be nice to have them available for an 'Exhibition' mode which doesnt seem to be in the game.

Other than the above, its ABSOLUTELY CLASS the game as a whole, im sure soon enough details (or a cheat!!) will be avaialble to allow me to get these players unlocked....
