  • Some questions from a newbie

    Hello,
After just introducing myself it's time to ask some questions about World Snooker Championship 2007:

    1. The commentators do complain that I am such a slow player They are right, I am afraid! The reason is that in the Xbox 360 version it is difficult to aim precisely. The controller-stick of the 360 looks not too sensitive; all the time my aiming tool makes too big jumps, even if I use the left trigger to fine-tune.
How do you guys cope with this? Any advice? Because this is the reason why I take that much time to take my shots; I take around 40 seconds to get everything setted for the shot

    2. Is there a way to change the level?

When I first started playing this it used to take me ages to line up shots. I've had this game a couple of weeks now and I'm loads quicker! Its really just down to practice and tiny little adjustments with a little flick of the controller stick!

Just hang in there and you'll soon start speeding up. My speed bar is now a bit over a quater full. And i'm missing less shots now

Can you explain what you mean by changing the level? If you mean changing the sensitivity for the aiming, no you cant. The only thing you can do is hold the left trigger (Xbox 360) but youre doing that already.

No I mean the quality of your opponents. For example, can you play championship on easy, normal and hard?

I could be wrong but i think the AI of the computer players is in relation to the person. So for example, someone in the top 5 is classed as hard (difficulty) whereas someone ranked in the 90's are set to easy. Like i said though don't hold me to this, i dont know if this is how it works but i presume so. Hope it helps.
