Selecting players for a random snooker match?

The good old exhibition match is done through the Versus mode I suppose? But when I want to play such a match, I can only pick the 'bad' to mediocre players? I'd like to play Ronnie for fun, but that's impossible...

Any clarifications?

You have to unlock the better players by winning tournaments.
That is what I have heared.

I'm starting to think you will unlock a whole load of players when you reach the top 16, in either snooker or pool. I've now won 2 tournaments and not unlocked a single player. Yet when i first reached the top 48 I unlocked the "easy" players.

So my guess is Top 16, is where the big unlocks happens!!! (I'm 22 in the world now - bit more time to go yet!)
