    Main tournament querry

    Hi all.

    In my second tournament (the Grand Prix) I won the qualifiers then went on to win the tournament. I've since qualified for the UK Championship and the Malta Cup, in both competitions the game said I had won the qualifying competition winning so much ranking points and money and would be entered into the main tournament.

    However, in both those tournaments I qualified for, after the winning qualification message, the game moved straight onto the next event

    Has anyone else had this happen to them, I have the PS2 version, I'm still only ranked 47 though it would have been a lot higher, my theory is its something to do with that, it confuses me though!

    Any suggestions or answers would be much appreciated!

    Its because in the calender you have to play qualifiers for a couple of events before playing the UK championship. Its a replica of this season's calender

      Thanks for your reply, I dont mind qualifying, I just dont understand why I'm not entered into the main tournaments after winning the qualifying events, thats twice its happened now after I won the Grand Prix.

      I'm still confused though, I dont understand how the calender being a replica for this season stops me playing in the main events I qualified for!

        Well after the Uk qualifying and Malta qualifying it should be the China Open qualifying then the actual UK Championship tournament. Have you played in the China Open qualifying yet?

          No I havent thats the next one. That explains it then!

          I thought because the Grand Prix was straight after the qualifying it seemed logical that all the main events were played directly after the qualifiers finished, which was the case with the Grand Prix.

          Which also explains why there are quite a few events on the calender in close succession, I'd assumed they were played directly after the qualifiers, hence I wondered what was happening with the UK and Malta events!

          Many thanks for your help, I dream of a slam of the season one day!
