The "Connection Lost" Trick

I was playing a ranked match earlier tonight on XBOX Live, with a higher ranked player than me.A couple of shots before I finished my final (and winning) break, a message appear on screen informing me the the connection is lost....
The funny part is that I didn't earn any ranking points (my TrueSkill points are still the same).

Since it's the second time this is happening, it seems that some very clever boys have found a way not to lose any ranking points........just by turning their consoles off right before they lose the last frame.....

So it appears that there is an extremely annoying bug (can you hear me SEGA?) in the game....

I tried to contact SEGA via email, but I couldn't find their support email address (in Europe)

So I suggest that we post here the gamertags of the "clever" kids....In that way we could avoid playing against them in the future......

whatever game you play online the cheaters out there will always find a way to exploit the game.I especialy hate it when you are playing a perfectly good game online then someone just quits or is obviously cheating.

nothing much can be done.you cant tell them to stop cheating, because they cant.
If people want to cheat and ruin the gaming experience for yourself on single player game,then that's fine, but when they cheat and ruin the gaming experience for other players (e.g., online), that's unacceptable. Plain and simple as that!

Maybe you should inform Sports Interactive ( the maker of the game, not SEGA ).
I wrote them before with a problem about ball-physics. Don't expect any answer, but they will read it. They might change it for the next version, or make a patch for this one...

.........I agree, this has happened to me before as well , admittedly, I wasn't winning, but even so..........

Maybe Hanterp is right too, and inform Sports Interactive..........

You should really go and post this in the XBOX.com forums you will get a better response. You can also leave the person feedback from your control panel on your xbox and there is a friends list!!!! hint only play ranked games with your friends.

During the day I play online but only in player matches, when it comes to early evening and UK'ers are getting home form work and the US is just waking up I switch to ranked matches and only play with my pals on my friends list.

Been playing on XBL for about 3 years now and all of the people on my friends list are from the Call of Duty: Finest Hour game, we even setup a forum similar to this, but ours is friends only and is locked to the public (104 members).
