What would be useful for me as a mod is what links I can leave and let be.. The members seem to be increasing daily, maybe time for another mod ? We can chat about this when you get online

I have tried playing Virtua Pool 3 online but never really had much success... ranged from the computer freezing to VP3 shutting down but never actually played anyone - I'll try again tomorrow.

You meant Virtual Pool 3 right?
Here's some tips to try get it to work for you.
Sign up with gamespy arcade and download the VP3 patch. This is absolutely neccassary.
Next you'll need to make sure that, if you have a firewall, that it isn't blocking the connection to the game server.
If you need further help, just ask, or log into gamespy and go to the virual pool 3 section and there is usually someone there that can help.

The game I play is iSnooker, google it and get some practice, once you can knock in a few 60's and 70's give me a shout for a game

I wouldn't mind seeing this site too. Couldn't be worse than Yahoo!'s version of online pool!
I much prefer the real game aswel, BUT it kinda suck not having a lot of friends. Getting inspired to go and play on my table alone is pretty hard.
Quite depressing actually.

I could be wrong but I don't think its free Snazzy, I google earlier but never got chance to download the trial version, Im assuming that its only a trial version the full edition will cost you

You're going to play online? Tips? I can suggest practice. And practice on the championship tables, and not the amatuer tables. Some of the players in there are pretty good.

I don't mean to be a harsh judge, but i'm so used to playing VP3.
It wasn't bad.....but, there's no skill involved. The line tells you where the ball is going to go.
It's great if you're at work and don't feel like working or have no other means of itching that scratch.
I'd happily play it again though. Also a good place to recruit members for worldsnookerforums.

We could also organise a little tournament for the forums members if we could manage to get a few of us on the same time. Though we'd need someway of communication because the nonmembers can't chat in the main chat area. It will require further discussion and planning.

Yes, count me in too, but how the heck would we organise it?? It would definitely have to be a weekend thing. We'd probably need a lot of warning too for our...er, sorry..THE members to allow time.
