Can't get isnooker to play

I've heard good things about isnooker so downloaded it. When I try to load the game I get the following messages:

Invalid video mode. Try changing your bit depth

Then I click 'OK' and get this message:

Could not detect the DIRECT3DDevice object.
The 3D hardware chipset may not support rendering in the current display mode

It then tells me to change the quality (depth) from 24/32bit to 16bit.

I do this but the messages just repeat.

Any help appreciated.

did you make sure that you have the latest directx version from microsoft

I have just installed this game and it is working fine ....

anyone got the full version as the one i have installed is only a trial

Andy, u have to register on isnooker... the trial account is for free & only valid for 2 weeks.
An annual account would cost £23.00 but u can also have a 6 months, 3 months or one month accounts

Sorry Andy, I don't I had an account for 2 years, it was great fun & I made lots of friends there but I got bored of the game so decided 2 take a break but I'm actually thinking of registering once more

Sorry to bump up this topic but is there anyway to change the view when you take a shot because you can't see the whole table and it confuses me,lol.

hi Yorkie,

- go on the desktop of your PC & right click anywhere.
- click properties.
- when the small window appears, click on the settings tab.
-change screen resolution to 1024/768.
-click apply then ok.
- off u go, enjoy the game

i just installed isnooker to my laptop which is windows 7 32bit, i tried to open the game but its coming up with = CreateDevice() - FAILED [D3DERR_NOTAVAILABLE]
