New Snooker Sim for the PS4/Xbox One/PC - Coming Soon!

Rejoice, people. PS4 and Xbox One will very soon be getting a new snooker sim!!

In a recent post I reviewed the brilliant Pure Pool from VooFoo Studios, and it is these who will be bringing us snooker as a DLC.

The most exciting aspect of all this, is that there's no reason to suspect the snooker DLC won't be as brilliant as the Pure Pool. This means photo-realistic graphics and a silky smooth frame rate.

The only things we have to pray for are that they get the rules right, and that they increase the speed of the table and make the cushions more responsive than they are in pool.

The game will feature three difficulty levels and a full career mode.

I guess the BBcode tag [video] is set to generate the correct HTML video code in some parts of the forum but in others (like this thread) it just generates a standard HTML link instead ... it's be interesting to see what happens if billabong tries to embed a video on this thread ...

I think I've cracked it!

the forum allows videos to be embedded in some sub-forums but not in others ... there's an easy way to tell if you will be allowed to embed a video in your post ... as you're writing or editing your post there's a line of options immediately above the text you're entering (with bold, underline, font etc on it) - if there is a little filmstrip on that line, you are allowed to embed a video - hovering over it will say "insert video" and clicking on it will allow you to enter the video ...

it there isn't a little filmstrip, you can't embed videos, only link to them ...

Sticking with VP4, PURE POOL looks everything else but a snooker sim.
