  • Fantastic pool sim

This is one of the finest pool (sorry, no snooker option) sims I've played in a long time. The balls react perfectly, feel nice and weighty, and side/top/bottom spin also is very realistic.

No downloads or installations, just click the link and providing you have the necessary requirements (most modern PCs do) you can start playing.

No online or 2 player option available, nor is there any rules - it's simply a 'free table' type of thing, but the ball physics make up for it.

I cant understand why people are spending time with a "realistic pool / snooker simulator" like that.

I understand if somebody has boring time at work etc and feel like potting a few balls, that game is good for that. The web is full of same kind of ball potting games. But spending free time with a game like that, sounds pretty strange.

But if You want to try a realistic simulator, I cant understand why not to bother trying virtual pool 3. VP3 is easily the most close to the real pool/snooker. Just try it. I guarentee You dont want to play any other snooker/pool game after that. Vp3 is waaaay above the others. The physhics, the gameplay, really good. Check out AlinVille:s snooker 147 break:

BTW, the game is now 8 years old, and this is, as far as I know, the ONLY real maximum break caught on video on that game. I have seen just a few screenshots of 147 breaks on vp3. In WCS-series and iSnooker people are making those every day. Maybe that tells something about the realisticness when comparing vp3 to other snooker / pool games.

Yeah VP3 is good, but you have all the bollocks of having to download and install etc. The one I've linked to is just there and ready.

        Sorry you find it 'strange'.
