i wonder why when u insert the game for the fist time there is an update for it straight away id of thought there would of been an intro to the game too and theres not being no advertisments on tv too

hi DarkEnergy, you mentioned yesterday about looking forward to my thoughts. just been playing for half an hour and my initial thoughts are - loving the more realistic ball physics. my only gripes so far are, the removal of pressing Y to view the full table after taking shot and the removal of being able to aim the cue with the left stick with full analogue control not just up,down, left,right. and you removed being able to speed up the shot with B once shot played, it now just skips to the end of the shot. patch maybe? apart from those minor gripes i am loving it

Been playing most of last night on this, some good points already made on here
My thoughts, The single player is alot better than last year.

AI seems a lot better ( but still pulls of some ridiculous shots when a clear easy safety would happen in a real game )

The miss rule seems to work well and at last its in the game

The new reply system seems very good

The ball physics is where it stands out from last year. got to say very well done on that

so over all a far better single player game.

The new aiming aid seems a lot better but as said above why include the inspect mode kind of defeats the purpose of making the game harder atleast include the option to turn that off
Along with the top down veiw arrows wich both are game killers for me on the MP side
so will be sticking to single player apart from the odd game with freinds

overall a better game than the last few years but needs a few little tweaks and options for MP play wich i hope Dark Energy Sports wil address in Future games
But well done on atleast giving us the opton to turn some of the aids off,

What happened to the spots where the colours go??

Is this a feature, am I missing something or something that was missed by the devs?

I have the PS3 version by the way.

DarkEnergy...following on from my comments about camera views after you've taken a shot. there is an option to switch cameras during the AIs shots so why not include it for your own shots?! the reason this is a bugbear is because sometimes you'll take a shot and the camera switches to a position that makes it impossible to see where the object ball has gone!!! in '09 if this happened i'd quickly switch to the overhead cam to see what is happening but you've removed this option....WHY?

a response to this would be greatly appreciated because i imagine it's something that could be easily rectified with a patch/update.

hahahahahahaha i see what you mean about using the RT to see if the object ball is lined up to the pocket!!!! DarkEnergy what the hell were you thinking including this option. it now makes it impossible to not pot the ball lolol.

thought you guys said the game was harder now cos the aiming aids arn't as forgiving as '09...well what is the point of making the aiming aids a bit harder if all you have to do is press RT and you can see if the ball will be pocketed..!!!!! what a joke. and please please please tell me this option is disabled for online play otherwise i will deffo not be playing online.
