only too easy i find if you use right trigger to line up shot (xbox360) if you avoid using it i reckon its not easy...but i do agree i dont think its any better than 09 after playing for a week or so...i find the table slow and when you try to break up reds..dont seem to react very well...spots and shot cameras doesnt really bother me...but why they included this right trigger thing i dont understand why.

All I can say is...
R.I.P. Dark Energy ........ you obviously don't give a toss about any of the rubbish you have produced. Admit it, there was no testing to the game, and as previously stated it is just a clone of 09 version really with a few different graphics. And to say that a replay system is what differs is just a load of old tosh .... people don't want to look back at shots!!!! People just want to have a decent frame where, when people pay hard earned money to pay for, shouldn't be too difficult (stance of the players (leaning over when no leaning is required, what's all that about!!), spots on the table (pffft don't get me started), Had Mark Selby playing left handed the other day, doubling a green from the cushion where the black was, up and down the table and into the bottom corner pocket)
WSC REAL!?!?! More like WSC UNREAL ....
Congratulations for one of the biggest cons in gaming history, Congratulations for all the totally unethical money you have earned through this shoddy edition, but not listening to consumer feedback is a total no-no. Nobody should ever buy another version of this game until the very basics are at least achieved.
I await a response from Dark Energy and of course from anybody who believes I am being totally unfair on the game.
All the best,
Craig.

Well since its the only snooker game there they have the monopoly and because i love snooker i ordered the thing after every review and threads i read.I will be having it here a week from now and to tell you the truth from the moment i saw the first screens i thought it would be exactly like the 09.I found it 35 euro which is a good price.I dont know if its worth it yet but some things like fixing the online pullers problem is a good one for me.From what ive read i am sure that they really had a very small budget and tried to marketing it so as to appear a huge improvement. What a pitty.I wish some other company buys royalties and makes a REAL game cause this isnt one.No referee????Wheres the real in that?...The problem with snooker is that there arent many people involved and interested in many countries.Barry Hearn tries to expand snooker but it needs a lot of work. Here in Greece no one knows what snooker is.Well maybe 20 people or smth. When i cant play online and find no one or see the leaderboards with so few people well no company would ever finance a game for just a few people...Pitty because we will continue to be having that low standard for this game...

The saddest thing is; even though they claim there's no market for a game like this, there's hundreds of thousands of people who would pay for a superb version of our game. The only way to open it up to the casual gamers is to give it two options, an easy 'pot with all aids' and a pro mode.
The easy option wouldn't be available to be used online, so it would deter the players who quit, and would whittle it down to the pros (i.e. us).
2005 was perfect, absolutely perfect. How can you go from making a perfect game, and then producing this on superior hardware? DE have let us down big time, and I hope they lose the license for this. Why isn't Ol' Barry having a word? If he wants snooker to get to the masses, then he needs to stop signing his name onto this shovelware.

Hey, I've been looking for a place to discuss this game and this seems to be the best place for it. Went to register to make a post and turns out I joined in 2009? Can't remember but whatever lol..
From reading most of this thread I can see I'm not alone in thinking this game has major flaws. Just like previous games, it is far too easy!! When playing online you can pretty much make every shot, I was pretty shocked that it was like that straight away seeing as I hadn't even applied skill points to my character yet.
It is far too easy for people to just barely skim a ball, most people online are doing this and it is just not snooker! I noticed they had no spots on the tables the other and could not believe it!! Terrible game development there..
Like others have said DE seem to have spent all time on this replay feature, which I like and think is quite impressive, but come on that should not have taken forefront in the games development. The character create is not improved as you have said, it is cringe worthy!! The cue going through the ball is still there shockingly. I agree with pretty much all complaints made previously to me and hope DE are taking this thread seriously. I'm going to return the game and think hard before I buy another one.. You don't have many customers buying this game in the first place, don't lose the few you have!! Sorry for such a long post.. just needed to voice my opinion.
Thanks for reading

The arena is split into two areas, with a dividing wall between them, just like the official event. Allows for more matches during earlier stages. You cant see the other table because it is behind the dividing wall. If you go to later stages you will find the wall has gone and you can see the whole arena.
