well quite impressed with the game so far after an hours play and have to say the reaction on the cue ball is realistic with side etc also when on the cusion u cant put bottom on the cue which is good there is one bad point there is a button that zooms in on the objct ball which tells u where its heading so u cant miss really the foul thing is same as real 09 but you can see the clear screen if u press to view the tables and cusions are still a bit slow unlike real life the controls take a little getting used to too with my average shot time of 45 seconds so far would recommend buying it

was afraid of that it beeing to easy...im not buying it.
unless they throw in aiming aid options,disable top view arrows, and everything i mentioned before in a patch.

just had a 147 in my 3rd frame on the game it is harder to break build tho more realistic plus not as easy to roll up to the pack for safetys

Lol so you have had the game less than 2 hours and you already got a 147 !! sounds like its far too easy then...unless your a pro at this

Was that using the 'aiming aid and positional aid' or just 'aiming aid' only or 'no aiming assistance at all' ?

I am number 1 in the world on 09 and was on 07 I'm not your average gamer m8 you wouldn't believe the hours I have put in on the whole series
I'm a big fan and think they have made a great game massive improvements from 09 all positive
What you have to understand it's a game
Gamers don't miss cue !! Feel pressure or suffer from bad cue-ing plus you will find alot of players are die hard fans alot of players can beat anyone that's were the fun is playing a great safety game ... Had some great matches online looking forward to many more with this new game
If you practice your safety game perhaps you wouldn't get whooped so much

Great to hear of a player review, it's true online is all about safety play, I was in top 10 on 09 and would have been higher had I not been cheated by the server giving me losses 3 times, hopefully that's sorted, I've played u at least once cookie, I've kept records of my online games, and games vs comp so I can see my 100 breaks and compile some basic stats, was a while ago but I'm sure I beat u, perhaps we're 1 all, u can play for sure, wouldnt like to give u chances and bet against u! Hope u keep enjoying the new game, see u online!!

Better graphics
Better psychics
Harder aiming system
No more pullers online
Online tournaments with separate leaderboard
Improve AI
Simpler controls ... are great you can really fine tune shots really easy
faster loading times
And the replay system is class
All massive improvements
That's just my opinion as a fan I would be the first to say if it was a step backwards but it's a massive leap forwards

My AI question: in 03 and 04 (i've won the world champs on both so can play without the aiming aids), if u missed against a top 8 player, u were finished, u were lucky if they didnt make an 80, regular centuries in my experience, how it should be, on 07 and 09 ronnie missed way too much, higgins barely made an 80 even if the balls were very good positions or perfect, the comp couldnt push me, it was like the AI had gone backwards, I'd like to see centuries knocked in against u if u miss, pleased about the harder aiming aid, is it significantly harder than it was at the start of 07 and 09 when ur stats were low?

Am buying it on friday, really looking forward to it now, I'd like to see the great Joe Davis on the game for world number 1 again, most players did well to get 0 frames against him if they unlocked him (even supposing they were good enough to unlock him legally), my best was 18-5 loss, basically I'd like to see them play to the standard of a pro playing well, only player who made frame winning breaks against me was hendry.

I found if u played really well against them (I'd average 5 centuries a match on full length matches and never lost vs the comp), they'd play terrible and "go to bits" a little, any evidence of this so far? Higgins was the worst top name player going, he was terrible considering he is one of the best ever, he could barely make 50!

whats fun in seeing your opponent clear up because these aiming aids are just too easy, top players dont see arrows reaching to the heart of the pocket either...

just to add my word on the game came today,ive played most versions from ps1 to current formats and im telling you the game isnt so easy this time ive just lost my opening game in the quailflying of china open and that never happened to me before the table seems alot slower and potting balls into middle pocket is tough,the aiming range isnt so long either when you start,it might become bigger the more points you spend on your player as you go along.its taking me a little time to get used of the controls used to old system,i find it hard to believe the earier poster who says got a 147 in 3rd frame...this review is posted after my opening defeat i see if i get better any questions i will try to answer honest if you got any.
