  • Suggestions for the next WSC Real for Wii

    Dear Blade Interactive,

I enjoy your first version of WSC Real 08 for Nintendo Wii.

Here is my list of suggestions, for others feel free to add your suggestions

Add more training / practice sections:

    - Practice to clear the color balls

    - Ability to SAVE on going frame for practice later. For example, during a game, I got difficult / interesting situation. It would be nice if I can save the frame and available in the practice room.

    - Ability to redo the last shot during practice.
This can be used to train / correct the power / spin.

    Create our own invitational tournament

    - It would be nice if we can setup an invitational tournament, and choose the opponents.

Add setting to change computer AI difficulty

    - For example: beginner, medium, advanced

    How about 9 ball tournament?

    - I think 9 ball is quite famous, so please add

Add more varieties of the commentator text

    - I like those commentators, otherwise the game will be boring (no music, thats obvious). But the texts are getting the same again and again.

Ability to turn off certain animations

    - For example: Walking animation before starting a game or go to room. That's pretty annoying

    About tournaments

    - Add option to SKIP a tournament
    - Add more official / un-official tournament to choose

Remove the red triangle from the 8 ball

    - I cannot believe you added it!

    Add Wii MOTION PLUS support

    - I believe this will be a very good feature

Last, add online multiplayer, online tournament!

So, here they are and I will be waiting the next version

The graphics are OK though, typical Wii

I dont really care about the graphics to be honest. The most important thing for this kind of game, is the game play. And it is good. Although it can be much better with some suggestions that I made in this thread, especially the online multiplayer mode.

I saw some of in-game movie and I dont really like the snooker balls. They are too shinny! And I am afraid that the PS3 version could be like that.

          You can see it here:

          http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SlbWC3Yxlk0

I dont know, probably that could be good. But for sure, the Wii version is not like that.

The most aspect that I like is the mini cue that comes with the Wii version I really like it. I feel like playing the snooker for real!

I just want to beat Ronny or John Higgins ... damn

Great game defo worth getting :-)

My Suggestions for improvement would be:

            • Animated cue action on screen.

            • Changing the spin by just moving the cue tip like "Wii Play Billiards"

            • Ability to just have a simple straight line aiming aid rather than rows of triangles.

            • REMOVE THE 3 Triangles in 8 Ball,,,,, what were they thinking??????

            • What ball next in 9 ball pool for the learners.

            • Yellow and Reds balls in pool.

            • Completely free play in pool and snooker for practice and playing other humans with regional rule variations.

            • Ability to switch of background graphics.

            RT:snooker:

                  Yes, it has practice mode

There are also several tasks where you can try to complete ... for example:
                  - Breaking
                  - Spin
                  - Positional
                  - etc.

They are quite fun, although I want more!

The only thing I dont like with the practice mode, we cannot re-set like previous shot. For example, to fine tune the spin / power.

I have suggested this for the next version though, including:

                  - Practice to clear up the color balls (starting from yellow)
                  - Ability to save frame during a game, and it will be available on the practice mode.

                    More suggestions from me

                    (1) Add more statistics!

                    - How many century breaks ...
                    - How many break above 50 ...
                    - How many frame won vs loos ...
                    - etc.

That would be very nice to see and to improve. Especially because I did 2 centuries yesterday 120 and 115 breaks ...

                    (2) Add some more helps / documentations about the skills

Just to give more clear understanding what to invest the skill points!

To my opinion, the most valuable skills are:
                    - Potting skills (obvious)
                    - Pressure
                    - Spin
                    - Tools
                    - Positional

I think all players are available. I am not sure about venues because I don't remember all.

Fix the save game feature! Make it always work that you can save the game progress per frame or even at any time.

Sometimes we need to take a break, or something more important so we have to turn off the TV (guest coming).

Most of us are not professional player that has incredible stamina ...

So, make it enjoyable even for starters, kids, grandpa, etc.

We dont have to be a professional snooker player to play the game!
