Hi,
I am not a real good snooker player, so I dont know all the tips / theory about it.
I know about effects/spins (top, bottom, side).
Now, do you have any tips to do a good "safe" first break? Where the cue ball will be located next to the bottom cushion and probably hide behind the brown (or green/yellow) ball
My first break is pretty simple and sometimes it is not safe ...
- I dont move the cue ball, usually it will be located in the middle of the brown and yellow
- I aim the outer-most of the reds, see the "X" below:
- I aim just the tip of the right side until you see 2 "white arrows" of the positional arrow
- I dont add effect/spin
- Then hit it with about 2,3 - 2,5 power bars (max = 3 bars).
Sometimes, it safe ...
Sometimes, the cue ball will be potted ...
Sometimes, it is not safe ...
So, any tips? How is it in the real snooker?
Thanks
