I can't get the PC version to work, it just goes to a black screen. I have Radeon 9550 is that supported?
Unfortunately the game requires Pixel Shader 3.0, and you only have 2.0 Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. A shame they didn't make the game a bit more scalable.
Got my PC version yesterday, last one I played was 2005 (PC/Xbox).
Plus points:
Graphics are very nice, I like the positional guide, the coaching, the commentary (although it grates at times, is still well done)
AI seems to be believable
Game runs very well on my laptop at all highest settings + (1440x900 x2 AA)
C2D P8400/9600m gt, Vista 64, 3gb ram
Bad points:
No online play, got to admit this was a big wtf moment
When I apply spin to the ball, like screwback the animation in a lot of cases still shows the cueball being hit at the top. The spin does work though.
The picture in picture, a nice touch unfortunately on one occasion (in 3 hours of playing) it stayed in the corner, meaning some shots were near impossible to line up.
I am hoping to pick up a 360 version on the way home tonight.
However, could anyone who already has the game please confirm if the positional indicator can be turned off, but keep the aiming indicator on. Like it was in the 2005 version.

Many Thanks.
Yes thats right you can do that so you have the positional bubble off and the aiming arrows on, thats how I prefer it too.

Personally I thought 2007 was too easy with the postioning bubble. I got a couple of maximums :snooker: , however in 2005 version with aiming aid only I think my highest was in the 70's.
What a Tit full I've had today, knowing that the game has been released, I phoned GAME and they said they didn't have it in stock yet waiting for delivery, I phoned Gamestation they had it in and had one left! I didn't think of putting it buy for me, I went in "Sold Out" that was just bloody great!
Game how ever had it on display in their shop all this bling display ect for £39.99 for the PC what bloody cowboys they said it was out, and I pointed out that Gamestation had it for £29.99 to my surprisment they didn't have it in stock.
They say my copy is not gonna be delivered untill 10th of april....bugger
GAME's service over the internet is good if you'd like to try it, I always use it now as it gets me the game a day early, 2 days in the this case and the delivery to your house is really helpful.
