well can you tell john reynolds to hurry his a s s up and give us snooker fans a patch for the disconnections on ps3, not to much to ask for, considering we had to pay out 34 99 for a beta version of a game, cheers blade, nice one.
bytheway blade, if you do sort the disconnections out, us snooker fans would like an online competition setting up to win cash prizes, just a bit of compensation to make up for all the stress u've caused.

There is hardly any improvement in the career mode, there really isn't. You have to decide whether you think it's worth parting with £20-£30 of your cash for a first person view, plus all the bugs/issues the game comes with

Did you say you paid £30 odd for this ? You should have waited ,Play.com have discounted it to £19.99 ,maybe not wait till next week and they'll be giving it away.

Health Risk

I want to play full length matches, but due to the lack of being able to save mid-match I have to sit in front of the screen for hours on end. I put it to Blade that this encourages an unhealthy amount of time in front of the screen that has already led to headaches.

Oh please, while I agree that your suggestion regarding an in game save option is a sensible/good one don't start going on about health issues. If you start getting a headache when playing this or any other game then TAKE A BREAK. Either turn your tv off or switch to a different av channel. Use your common sense.

So I play a few Frames, go out. Leave my Xbox on, nice environmental way of playing. Also paying electricity. I'm actually going to try and take this game back.

It isn't old at all. I love snooker and want to play full length matches. Why should I have to pay to leave my Xbox running all day to finish matches? This is probably the single most stupid annoyance with a game I have ever experienced.

I'm not saying you should have to pay. You should have an in game save option as I've already agreed with you. The headache comment is the thing I find annoying and a little silly. I'll say it once more, if you start to get a headache playing this or any other game just take a break from it. No one is forcing you to carry on- save option or no save option. Anyone who carries on after developing a headache is soley responsible for their own well-being not a games developer.

I don't get why you guys are having a problem with the save? I'm playing the 360 version and haven't had any save problems to date. For example the other day I was on a best of 7 frames and I wanted to take a break at 3-1. I simply started the 5th frame then exited to the dashboard (obviously don't select quit as that QUITS the match). Later in the evening I restart the 360, load the game and go to season, next game. The match loads up at the start of the 5th frame where I left off.... I don't know what you guys are doing differently? Quitting? BTW I'm on 25% match length if that helps? Maybe the bug is in medium or long match length?

There is no bug as such. Some of these guys dont seem to realise that you can simply turn the xbox/ps3 off after whatever frame you are on and like the above poster says - when you turn back on you can continue your match. It clearly states in game that if you use the "quit" option you will lose progress in the current match. Simply do as the above poster says and exit to dashboard or turn off console but DO NOT select quit!

It is rather silly to not have a "save and quit" option, but the people who think you have to leave your xbox ON are simply wrong, and I've played 25%, 50% and 100% matches and this works for all.

I consider this game ok but it certainly has too many bad points for my liking. I can either play with the aimming aid on and have the computer tell me exactly where the ball will end up after I have a shot (where's the skill in that?) or turn the aid off and hit virtually blind. Is it too much to ask for a line coming out from the center like in Jimmy White's Cueball World?



WSC can learn a lot from the above game. I would be playing Jimmy White Cueball World if my computer could play it. Unfortunely because it's an old game, on many newer hardware, the game runs in fast forward mode. I understand there is a patch to fix this issue, but then the game crashes randomly in the middle of a game... unplayable.
