Actually yes, but AI-s are so advanced players, that it's not lack IMO

BTW, will BLADE int. improve this by patches? (I mean online play)

    • hi all! just wanna confirm, is anyone facing the same problem with me?

i just bought the game yesterday, and tried playing it. i played my 1st match, and well, as anyone can guess, i lost. then while the game is loading (or so-called going back to the dressing room), it suddenly caused my pc to reboot!

        Weird...
Can you list your PC hardware config?
Maybe your VGA driver needs to update

            • What a huge disappointment!

I've been looking forward to the PC version for a year, since it was first supposed to come out. Now that I have it the game is ruined for me by not been able to use the mouse as a cue. It doesn't feel real without it. Why couldn't they have added that?

The only way to play snooker with the mouse as cue is to play the Virtual Pool series ( VP 3 is the last ).

                • Yes, I have VP3, but the only snooker you can play on a snooker table is in quick play, there is no real snooker competition.

Combine the best of VP3 with WSC Real 09 and you have a game worth buying. But I'm sure that's been said many times on this forum. Is Blade listening?

How long have people been asking for mouse controlled cueing? More or less since the series started, around nine years ago? If that's the case, then I'd say Blade aren't listening at all.

Blade, I think I speak on behalf of everyone here...

GIVE US THE OPTION OF MOUSE CONTROLLED CUEING!!!

                      Thanks...

                      • Probably, the mouse controlled cueing is ... copyrighted?

Because I have never seen in other game except VP3.

And to be honest, the reason I don't like VP3 ... is this mouse controlled cueing I hate that, it makes my arm feel pain.

                        • I think the mouse-controlled cueing gives you a better 'feel' of a shot than moving some arrows and click the power-bar.
Blade and Celeris made their game with a different philosophy. Celeris attempted to come as close as possible to shooting balls with a cue, leaving the potting angle for you to find out. That way of making breaks ask more knowledge of potting balls and controlling the cue-ball than with WSE Real. In fact, VP 3 is the real simulation of the two.
Blade more or less gives away the potting angle and cue-ball controll. Blade tries to emulate the snooker world by real player names, tournaments, commentators and many funny challenges and prizes to win. The question in WSE is not if you win your match, but if you can win the tournament and how long it takes to climb the world ranking. So in short, WSE Real looks more like an arcade game and VP 3 is a genuine simulator of a snooker/pool game.

                          It's just what you prefer

That's why now I prefer the Wii version of WSC ... Which has motion control for Wii remote, and it works quite good. For sure, it gives you closer to the real one compared to mouse motion.

I hope Blade will update the Wii version with the next Motion-Plus !
