In other games ( Virtual pool 3 ) you just move the cue forward and then you shoot hard if you move the stick fast.
Is it the Virtual Pool way of playing or the WSC 2007 way of playing ?

And the normal 2007-way of playing has been unchanged at WSC REAL 09?
Something different: Here in Holland the game has not been released yet and all shops I visited got another name in their computer-system. All of them called the game WSC 2008
Is that the name for the non-UK countries?

2. Alternatively you can switch to Classic Mode which is the system used in previous versions
3. The direct shot control (left shoulder + right stick in Real Mode) has been greatly improved compared to 2007, making it more accurate and sensitive.
Hope that helps

Okay, thank you for the clear answers!
Nobody has an answer on my remaining question?

Just had a couple of frames and can confirm the controls seem more sensitive this time round in the real game mode (xbox360 version)
looks a lot better than the 07 game, and the AI seem a lot better
Also there is an option to turn aiming aids and position aid off,
but jeez is it hard that way.
Nice one BladeInteractive most enjoyable game.

I've found it almost impossible to play without the aiming aid on previous versions, so cant see me not using it when i play this version. Like one of the other posters said could anyone say if the commentary has improved and who are commentators please?"Statistics won't tell you much about me. I play for love, not records."

Isn't this whats snooker all about after all? I mean skills and mentality. I'm not gonna mention any specific game here, don't want this to go offtopic again.
When You play snooker on a real table, do You have any aiming aids? No. If you play using aiming aids, isn't it somewhat the same as like having a darts game with a crosshair which tells You exactly where the dart is going to end up before even throwing it(for example)? I mean when playing with aiming aids, it changes the whole idea of the game upside down. You are only watching where the aiming aid is pointing. If its not pointing into the pocket You tune the aiming a little bit. Doesn't work that way in real snooker. If You remove the aiming aids the game-experience becomes much more real, the thing You are aiming at is of course the object ball, like on a real-life play, not just looking at a aiming-aid line and strike. And this is where another very essential point comes up: mentality. Without aiming aids the game gets far more mental. If You play snooker for real too, You know what I mean. You really have to concentrate and BELIEVE 100% in every shot... Especially when doing a big break / shooting at frame winning ball in a deciding frame the mental part gets more and more essential. If youre aiming to pot a easy ball and not feeling good about the shot, it is very easy to miss. Without aiming aids, yes, its difficult. But isn't it the way it is supposed to be?
At least thats what I think.
Cheers.

But everyone has to make that up for its own.
