same here, the disconnections are a pain in the ass, and you pay all that money out just for it to do this **** on ya.
my connection is spot on too and i do not have any problems whatsoever with any other game so its got to be on blade interactives part, maybe the game needs an update and if they do upgate the game and i still have the same problems then im gonna get my money back from blade, because its not right for them to take peoples cash for a game that doesnt work properly online, i wonder if blade tested all this properly before releasing the game.
i was thinking on using dmz but thats not to good for security reasons.
im wondering also if people that are using this game have got upnp enabled in there router, as this opens the required ports automatically.:snooker:

the ps3 didn't used to have trophies until they copied the achiviement system off the 360... so any game that came out without trophies a while back would you not buy? that's pathetic..

as for the music... put your stereo/pc on!!!!!

Surely people aren't getting disconnected every time? are you sure it's not just your opponent quitting? or does it give a dc message at your end? i'm getting this tomorrow to play with a mate online, will be really annoying with constant dc's.

maybe some are quitting but the message comes up saying connection lost quite a lot of times. i have had quite a few games where i havent been disconnected though. but ive had more disconnections than actually playing a full game without being disconnected.:snooker:

Well i'll give a bash tomorrow i guess, both me and my mate have static ip's dmz so if we dc it's a server issue, let's hope blade fix it. Is this an issue on the 360 version too?

Well first of all when was the game released?

Oh that's right.....after Trophies were out on the PS3, so regardless of who's copying who....you would expect them to be in the game, just like most releases that are out nowadays...

Where did i say that i wouldn't buy an old game? I just bought a game today in fact and that does not have trophies...but then again the game was released before Trophies were introduced to the PS3.


You know what is pathetic though? Your response to the music, LOL to that...ok so i just bought a PS3 which has all this power etc, and is an Entertainment hub for your Room, so why should i play music on My Stereo or PC too, and waste more Electric etc.

All i am saying the Xbox can do it...why won't the Devs patch it in for the PS3?

One game for example, Ferrari Challenge, that originally did not have either of the two features but they managed to patch it in, as did Warhawk, and some other games.

Don't do it Tom (i think it's you :P), but i have seen Rex play it for ages so he must enjoy it...it is apart from the In game Music and Trophies a decent Snooker game.

I hate the Walk around the table (Real mode), so i went back to classic...but then for me that was exactly like 2007....so i had to weigh it up and think am i essentially paying £30 for the same game i bought a while ago? I thought yes...so got my money back for it on Sunday.

I may buy it again once it drops to no more than £15 Brand New, but nothing more, and that will probably be next December/January.

Thats like saying everything was fine with old square tv sets, even though technology has moved on to plasma/lcd flatscreens i should stick with the old style and just lump it even though its been surpassed and the technology is now there to implement bigger and better things, i sill still buy the old tv.

It disconnects EVERY time on the PS3 and about 60 players I've met say the same...ports forwarded for fifa 09 and playstation network, as well as call of duty...but still the same. ALl other games work like a dream online (GTA IV and FIfa etc)

It isn;t people quitting in our 60 cases, because each time we have spoken with the opponent and tried to set up a game again, only for the same thing to happen. People are now dropping from this game like flies, which is such a shame!
