Probably this is the same "bug" like WSC 2008 for Wii ...

I dont know WSC 2009 .... but in WSC 2008 for Wii, you SHOULD NOT QUIT the game.

Because if you QUIT, it does not matter you have saved it thousands time, it will reset to the beginning.

So, in order to properly save, I simply turn my Wii ... OFF ! ... using the power button.

        Hi Tom,

Well, I dont use load game, because I dont think there is load game menu in WSC 2008 for Wii.

I simply go to "Next Match" ...

So, it will be like this:

        1. TURN ON -> Start game -> load character -> season -> next match -> play -> TURN OFF

        2. Do something else

        3. Go to 1 to continue

That works for WSC Real 2008 for Wii.

And yes, I am just wondering ... Why on earth they cant implement "save" and "load" game properly?

But they can make good snooker physic, render nice graphics ...

        Hmmm ....

            Hi Tom,

I am not too sure about it, but I never played versus that long ...

            I will check later.

              Morning all.

I remember reading in the past on another forum that switching the PS3 off from the power switch could damage the blu ray player, so I would advise against that.

I had the same problem with saving, as I was part way through a qualifying match in season but had to go out. After finishing a frame, I used the "exit match" option from the in game menu and it said that all match progress would be lost - and indeed it was.

Last night though I think that I have found the way to do it. When you've had enough/need to go out, after you have finished playing the frame you are playing and it has completed the autosave, press the "PS" button on the controller and quit game (the same way you do any other PS3 game). You will then go to the PS3 home screen where you can eject the disk and switch the PS3 off as per your normal way. When you click "next match" the next time you play you should start off from where you left the match.

This appears to work for season mode, I am not sure if it will for versus matches though.

                It wont harm it

Soon as it is saved turn it off from controller or holding down the off button on the ps3.
