the game doesn't work online for the PS3 for the 60 people or so players we've spoken with or for ourselves...possibly the same for the XBOX? Has anyone managed to play a FULL frame or two without being disconnected mid frame?

We're all waiting for Blade to come up with a solution but the worry is that many people will give up and not come back by the time this is fixed!

THe only thoughts we have is that maybe most people don;t have port forwarding for the PS Network o their router and possibly this could be causing the DC...but Blade need to look into this before it's too late...

I switched the bubble thing off straight away, found it annoying, i managed to play 3 full frames of snooker last night (lost 3-0) and it seemed ok, bit slow now and again....then thing thats really bad though, is when the player opposition is cueing up...you cant see them....just a magic floating cue untill they take the shot then they appear...its pretty laughable....bit like the whole game really.

        Oh well

I have played online with xbox 360 and had no problems.... BUT...

On the pc version why could it not have been possible to control the cueing via mouse? i mean actually sliding the mouse backwards and forwards and controling the speed or the cue instead of that power dial crap, there would have been a much more realistic feel to the game because its likely that you control the mouse with the same hand you hold the butt of the cue with and also more skill taken to judge the positioning. It couldnt have been that hard, as i said in an earlier post interplay were doing this 15 years ago with virtual snooker. Granted they didnt have all the gormless expressions on players faces and lavish graphics but i for one would rather have had a more playable game than all the background bling on your 2007 oops 2009 version. I honestly think that you have gone overboard on all the little things that dont matter and paid no attention to the playability of the actual game of snooker.

You can use that kind of motion using the Thumb Stick things on the xbox, iv done it a few times now by mistake, i might start using it instead of the dial, thats shocking and gets in the way of the table, makes it hard to see the pockets
