  • PS3 - this game is too fake

the computer players seem to pot every long shot and every shot down any cushion. most of the shots, real professionals wouldnt even think about taking on, it makes the game feel very unrealistic

    anyone else finding this?

the game is impossible and you cant have fun in versus mode cos you have to have the crap players

what more do you want, do you want to control real live people in the game.

In WSC 2007 you can even put backspin on the cueball when he is tight to the cushion, i guess that will be the same in 2009. That kind of minor bugs make the game a bit unrealistic. And yes, the top players can pot balls from every angle and position, shots that on a real table they would never take on.

On those things Blade will have to work!

I think it will take years for human to be able to create realistic simulation of another human Especially those "super" human (read: pro snooker player).

PS: I am watching Battlestar Galactica and wondering when can we invent Cylon?

It's unrealistic but It's always been that way, when It's comes to your opponent making outrageous pots!

Rarely, in versus mode you can set a difficulty level i think but not in career mode. One mistake from you and your AI opponent (mostly the top players) will clear up the table and very rarely will they miss a pot. It makes the game very hard and therefore it is impossible to win matches against the professionals without the aiming aid.
I know in real life i won't be able to win a match against O'Sullivan for example, but this is a game and when you are always losing matches it becomes very boring and frustrating.

It's been the same from the start of the series. Does the middle pocket bump still have no difference on the along the cushion shots?

Blade, chuck this tired engine away and start from scratch. This series is beginning to rival EA's Cricket efforts.
