Thanks Blade for your time however for me the major issue is no online play with the PC version. OK i understand you decided not to implement it but why not tell us your customer??!! Your Web Page and media content stated all the features including online play. It soesn't take much these days to point out the pros and cons of each format especially via the medium of internet!!!! I expected more ???
Also what is it with the character customisation it takes forever to alter the character from your selections, hair style never changes for about 2 mins, this on quad core pc bought only 6 months ago which runs top end 3D games smooth as chips.
Attentions to detail missed a little I think and I for one will not be rushing out in future for WSCREAL until review code is sent and fully reviewed

First of despite all the flaws (and there are many) I do enjoy the game.
No online play
Questionable cushion physics
Lack of options for customisation (with regards to controls + aiming lines, cushion speed)
Some rare but annoying bugs such as the PIP staying at the top of the screen thus obscuring your view.
Saving issues.
Commentary being far too annoying, lining up a shot for 15 seconds and Virgo is giving me grief about it! Also on occasions flat out wrong, I hit a green escaping a snooker and was informed: 'Oh no he's potted the green'. False, I hit but never potted it.
Overall opinion, enjoyable enough but smacks of being a money grab. Definitely hasn't dislodged VP3 from being the king of this genre IMO anyway.

Right, if the skill points are still included ... why we are still talking about the length of the aim aid arrow?
Do you think the default arrow is still TOO LONG?
If that's the case then Blade should shorten it more in the next release.
If not, then don't spend any skill points in it, that way your aim aid will not getting longer.
Or am I missing something here???

Some questions I would love to see answered by Blade are ones I have raised in another thread
- Why are many licensed left handed players (King, McCullough etc) play as right handed in this game. This has been the case in all iterations in the series. If such attention to detail has gone into the game, how can such glaring errors persist. Being a programmer in my time, it's simply a case of changing a value in the database to say that these players are left- handed not right !!
- Why do players hardly ever use the rest anymore. I.e. all players are now ambidextrous so play left or right handed to avoid using the rest. And why since WSC 2007 do players now play with the cue sometimes up to a foot to the side of the head to play a stroke (thus avoid using the rest.) In WSC 2005 you had this spot on. Players always used the rest in correct situations and players always cued with the cue directly underneath the chin. The game has gone backwards in this regard
- Why have you got rid of the 3 different skill levels for aiming aids. I loved back in WSC 2005 being able to play on Advanced/Expert/Hard level (Whatever you want to call it) whereby you had short aiming aids and no aiming aids at all in overhead view. The 3 skill levels catered for everyone. In WSC 09, you have to play with aids on (in overhead view as well) making the game too easy for good players, or turn them off making the game near impossible.
- Player animations - why do all players look like they suffer from bad backs now. Too often a shot is played with the player almost standing upright. Again in WSC 2005 players always cued with the cue almost always touching the chin, which is correct. Again the game seems to have taken a backward step in this regard?
If someone is brave enough to tackle these issues my respect for you will grow 100 fold

Disabling the topview arrows would dramaticly improve play !
Especially in online play, you would see players make more effort to play save, then to go for an insane pot.

2 questions blade!!!
1. i know wii 09 follows shortly after xbox, pc ps3 as finished, but do you have a firm date yet? sick of seeing companies selling the 08 dirt cheap and want to test out comparison with 08.
2. i hope you moved the ball colour that your aiming at to a higher position, as you can't see where some aiming shots are over view as it's just a great big ball covering on the table.
feel free to send one of us wii owners a test sampler game if you don't trust yourself to release it just yet! ha, ha!!!
ps, 08 is still a great game and keep up the amazing work!

If you make a 2010 version you really have to build everything from scratch because this isn't really acceptable, the main thing that i just can't get over is how your cue position doesn't reflect where you've applied spin, that's just poor, you can't just polish up old games these days, you need to actually push boundaries or you will fail, and i'm surprised you don't have a competitor, as snooker games are quite simple to make compared to most games, i think one of the big hitters could churn one out once a year and it would be ten times better. Still it's all we've got for now unfortunately.

It's far more likely that what has occured here is TOO much attention to detail. I'll bet that the cushion sounds are indeed what was genuinely picked up by their microphones. I think the problem has occured because their collision sound engine which is based on the energy (speed)/angle of the ball impact is too sensitive and as a result is playing the cushion sound too loudly. Personally I don't mind it. You can bet that if casual gamers (who are probably used to hearing cushion sounds when they play pool down the pub) did not hear any sound when striking the cushion then blade would be receiving snotty complaints about this. I guess the old saying "you can't please all the people all of the time" applies to this and a lot of the other comments Ive read on this forum.Mobo: GA-P35-S3

Blade, sorry if you have seen this post before but i haven't seen an answer to it,
On the pc version why could it not have been possible to control the cueing via mouse? i mean actually sliding the mouse backwards and forwards and controling the speed or the cue instead of that power dial crap, there would have been a much more realistic feel to the game because its likely that you control the mouse with the same hand you hold the butt of the cue with and also more skill taken to judge the positioning. It couldnt have been that hard, as i said in an earlier post interplay were doing this 15 years ago with virtual snooker.
You have kept the analogue cueing on the 360 version of the game when on a small stick it makes it virtually impossible to judge the cue speed/power but on a pc where its natural to move the mouse its just not there. not even as an option. have any of your developers/designers ever played snooker?

I have some questions:
1) Is Judd Trump in this game (if he is how to unlock him)?
because in folder where I installed game is a folder SFX\streams and there I found sounds: Judd_Trump_Intro/Judd_Trump_Runnerup/Judd_Trump_Win
2) Is Malta Cup in this game
3) Can I changed clothers to the players like Ronnie O'Sullivan?
4) In folder Commentary\English there is a folder Referee and a lot of speach
but in game some of them he doesn't used (for example in folder there is a sound when Referee tell Final Frame but in game he doesn't tell it)?
5) Why when I played in clubs rooms there is no music?
(In 2004/2005 there was)
6) Why I can't saves in the game during a match?
7) In game there is a options to save replay, but when I pot the final ball on the table I can't save it. (only the final ball)?
8) Why in this game there is only 1 Referee. (He is in pool and snooker)?
and what is his name? Because I never saw him in snooker.
