if anyone else does not get any joy, the last resort is to offer the salesman a £5-£10 bribe to sort it. if he sorts it out, tell him that you now want a refund on the money just paid!
no, if people really don't like, just try it or forever be disapointed!
I'd like it even more if there was a way to mod it. If this was by Creative Assemby (for example), there would be ways to mod the sound and physics, at least giving the cushions a bit more bounce. But I doubt if Blade's snooker games have ever been moddable, not easily at least. Be nice if someone says I'm wrong.
Do we know if there are any plans for a patch that will allow us to use the mouse to control our aiming in the PC version? Using the keys means you can't refine your aim and get the shots you want. It's very frustrating.
When i spoke to the rep bloke all he said is that they have posted the patch to sony, so that in the next couple of weeks we should all get a working online game.....( we will see ) also he also stated that they are working on a patch to fix other issues ,eg - when in the over head view theres an icon over the top left pocket... these and other fixes they say will be worked on after the bank holiday period , as to when we see these .... remains to be seen . fingers crossed NOT LONG !!!!!
Really? I thought by using the keys will be easier to refine and aim the shots.
Easier does not always mean good ... It can mean not-challenging, too easy, un-realistic, etc.
using the keys causes the aiming to jump in chunks, rather than smoothly as you get with the mouse. The control system in World Championship Snooker 2005 was excellent. Why they couldn't just keep that system is beyond me.
ive spoken to one of the reps at blade this morning about the disconnection issue on the ps3 .His responce was that the patch ahas now been forwarded to SONY whom are testing the patch . it is now down to sony to release the patch so that life can continue with the snooker game online.... as to when sony get there finger out is another matter.?
I also spoke to Blade and they said it usually takes around two weeks from being sent off...glad to hear they have finally done so..

In the readme-file you can read that you can fine-tune the aiming by pressing space+arrow keys.
Why Oh Why, as a top 16 player do I have to play qualifiers? In the real world, this is what makes everyone strive for the top 16, you are automatically entered into ranking events. Also, if you are top 32, you only play one qualifier match, not two. WSC REAL??? WSC ARSE more like.

Not got that far. Does this happen for all tournaments? One thing to note is if you are ranked 16th but a player outside the top 16 is the defending champion in an event, you have to play one qualifier.

Happens everytime. There are, for example, 16 5th round qualifiers for the World Championship and they are all top 16 players, 4th round is 17-32. I'm not a pro snooker player but I have a friend who is, in fact he has just been playing in this years championship. I e-mailed him about about it and he confirmed that top 16 don't have to qualify.
