        Hi,

I am not sure if this is related, but here is my story about fixing online gaming disconnection.

It happened to me last week with my Nintendo Wii online game, Mario Kart. It used to work absolutely fine, 99% all the time ... works and enjoyable.

After several months stopped playing, I got some new friends who want to play it again.

So, I started to play online and got disconnected most of the time.

That's really frustrated me, because I dont change any setting on Wii (there is not much you can change) and I dont change any setting on my ISP router as well.

Internet works fine and always fast (12 Mbps).

Internet on Wii is also working fine, online shop works...

So, what left? Internet works, internet from Wii works, but I cant play Mario Kart online.

I got error 20100 all the time. And guess what? Nintendo said this error means their servers are full or busy, in short this is Nintendo's fault (As so I read from thousands forum).

Well, I thought this could be that Nintendo userbase has growth exponentially since I stopped playing Mario Kart ... or hmm temporary network issue.

Tried day and night, morning and afternoon ... no joy.

Then I started to look into my router and cleaned up it's settings. My router is able to detect connected devices to it's wireless LAN, so there are quite a lot of old entries there.

        I cleared it.

Finally, I changed the wireless channel to 11.

And .... it works!!! No more disconnection ...

Now, it worth to try ... to look into your network setup ...

I know, I should test the problem with other games as well, unfortunately I only have Mario Kart at that time for online playing.

Well, anyway, I just shared my experience here

I have to agree, this actually doesn't work after all and still disconnects every frame on the PS3. Blade promised a patch to fix this "Very shortly" and that was weeks ago. Now many players have turned their back on the game on ps3, completely ruined this game....
