  • Aiming Aids off Clan :)

Post your name on here if you wish to be added to the no-aiming aids or positional bubble clan so we can enjoy games without any cheating

I'd go with no positional bubble definately - but my aging eyesight would not cope with no aiming assistance.

Do you really mean NO aids at all?

I'll have a practice this weekend without any aids

I do agree mate the aiming aid does make it a game of lining up arrows instead of Snooker, but complety turned off I find a bit too hard - suppose I need to just practice

Oh for the 2005 version options............

Doesn't turning aiming aids off completely make it far too hard? Or does it ultimately make it more satisfying (with practice)?

I play VP3 with no aids at all. It makes the game much more interesting against human players however I believe the carreer would just be far too hard.

I would think playing without the aiming aids would make it far better, but to go from massive aiming aids to none is a big leap. Which makes it a steep learning curve for people who play with them.

I for one would have a go without them...to how much success lol....shall remains to be seen.

Quick side note about the aiming aids, turned on the position bubble for first time, made my highest break first frame and qualified first time aswell lol, too easy

The aiming arrows were bad enough. Not only does it tell you where the o/b is going to go, but also where the c/b is going to go, thus removing any real (the game's called WSC REAL isn't it?) snooker skill. Now, they have to add a position bubble as well! Blade, get a copy of Jimmy White's Whirlwind Snooker and have a damn good look at every aspect of it, especially the aiming 'aid'. Keep the depth you've got in this game obviously...
