Unplayable? Seriously? I think you are pushing too hard here.
No I don't think I am, this is a snooker simulation and as much as I want to play the final of the world championship over 3 frames it detracts from the simulation side of things big time (Which is how this game is marketed). I want a 35 frame final in which I can pit my wits against the best pro's surely thats what we should expect. A simple save game feature after every frame is not too much to ask, I mean why an earth does the game autosave after every frame anyway if you cant continue the damn game from that point!!!
And yes the lack of this feature makes the whole career/simulation side of this game unplayable, yes you can have a quick 3 frame game, great stuff for a knock about but hardly a simulation now is it?
I for one don't fancy leaving my game/pc turned on all day and night so I can resume my game later!!!!
This is 2009 not 1989 computers have progressed and I expect software to at least contain the simplest of features in this technological age!!!
Read other threads mate, it is possible to save if you exit the game rather than quiting. I presume on PC you would need to shut the game down. Just make sure you don't quit. Not great but it's definitely not unplayable.
Quit after the frame, not during it. The game should autosave, enabling you to return by clicking 'next match' in the menu. A clear 'save game' button would be nice though, especially if it allowed you to save during a frame.

If I don't feel like continuing, I just quit the game after the frame is completed and the next one starts. Ctrl+Alt+Del is your friend.
yes the good old save game button Ctrl+Alt+Del sorry totally forgot to press that. Thanks wish they had put that in the manual would of saved me a lot of time, oh these hidden features how I love them, Guess you could call this an EASTER EGG feature
Well as far as the Save Game Feture or lack of it on the PC at least I seem to have made a bit of progress. If you exit the match after the start of a frame and then completely quit the game, after loading everything back up if you immediately play next match the game resumes from where you left off.
However should you forget to go to next match and fiddle with your profile or do anything which autosaves before going to next match you lose the lot!!!!
Also if the game does resume the stats only show your stats for that session and not what happened before you resumed?!!!???!!
When ref replaces balls no reflections etc show on the ball until after score updates which looks a bit strange????
Also seen as Im bald and would like a bald player can we fix the wig issues floating around the screen???!!
Can I ask Blade to be on the system test team for WSCReal 2010 these seem simple bugs which should of been picked up on before release

Agreed, why the hell aren't the tournaments the length they should be?

I've never seen the game, but why should one want to save after every frame for a proper simulation? Shouldn't it only give the option to save after the first 8 frames, and then make sure you reload it and continue a couple of hours later, otherwise you're docked a frame - and then only be able to save again after 16 frames, go to bed, and have to continue at 2pm the following afternoon?

Yes indeed but this is not the way real life works for us non professional players now is it, either that or I would also expect a cheque for a few thousand coming my way after every win then I would be more than happy instead of having to do my 10 hour shift to keep a roof over my head then spend the little spare cash I have on a game which can't be bothered to implement the basics properly.
