I've recently purchased this for the PS3, as was always a fan of Jimmy Whites back in the days of the Atari ST, as well as other versions on the PSP. I know the first questions has been asked once before, but there was never any reply. When you create your profile, is there any way to create another profile and have the ability to play against each other. My friend come over last night, we both spent quite a bit of time creating our own profiles, but when we went to select each other to play against, we couldn't. Only one of us could use their profile, the other had to select one of the preset players. If this isn't possible, that is a shame and seems a little odd, but anybody that could clarify this I'd appreciate an answer.
Overall I like certain elements of the game, but simple things like the sound (the constant crowd noise on a loop is a little off-putting), as back in the days of Jimmy Whites it was silent apart from the odd cough or noise every now and then. The commentary by John Virgo can get quite repetive, but I've found that you can change the frequency of when he talks.
Also, is there any way of fine-tweaking your shot when using the L stick to set up your shot, as sometimes you want to move the aim a slight fraction to the left or right, but end up over-moving it by using the L stick.
I've not tried online mode yet, but will wait until the patch as I can see it appears to be affecting everybody with disconnecting.
Cheers,
Mark
