  • Where the hell is the patch?!!?!?!?!?!?

Seriously give us our money back! This game does not worth as much as it is listed if it can't play online!

    - bad technical support
    - bad customer service

seriously this is so deeeeeeeeep. How can a company do this?? It feels like this is some kind of fraud lol...

I bought this game cos of the online playing and now it's broken!

Sorry for the caps everyone but i am seriously in flame and ****ed off. I feel like i got cheated cos i spent hours looking for this game in town and all i get is this ****.

At least give our money back. Lying mofos!

In all honesty, I think no matter how much complaining we do it won't make any difference. I doubt very much if Blade even read any thread/post that remotely sounds like it is a complaint, bottom line, IMO, they could not care less. Any company that behaves in this way does not deserve any customers at all. The best thing to do is just don't buy their products in the future, I know I will not be. The game disc itself should make a nice coaster or frisbee, depending on my mood.

It could result in me getting banned for saying this, but I am glad I did not buy the game and merely downloaded it from torrents! Judging by the state of the game, I would recommend anyone who has not yet bought it to simply download it instead.

Have fun with the trojans you get for free together with these kind of downloads. You never get something for free; they want some info from you in return.

Yeah you can get that stuff if you don't know what you're doing. I do, so its not a big deal for me. If anyone has any issues with that kind of thing, don't let anyone tell you you need a bulky antivirus program like Norton. Those things take up far too much system resources when you could use an equally effective program like Spybot Search & Destroy from www.safer-networking.org. That's all I use, I don't get any viruses or spyware. Just remember to not randomly click on things when you don't know what they do, especially when they are from unknown or possibly shady sources, most notably *.exe files.

By the way, it is entirely free. You just have to know where to get it from, and it helps to have a decent internet connection too.

I use Spybot search&destroy together with AVIRA suite so I am relatively safe.
But when you do some math you know there is much more adware/Spyware/Viruses than Spybot Search&destroy detect. Even a very good security program leaves at least 5% virusses undetected. 5% from 1500000 is still 75.000 unrecognized virusses. That is too much to take a risk on such a site.

I'd rather risk getting a virus (which in the worst case scenario I can get rid of by jus formatting, which is free) than risking spending £20 or whatever on this game lols

And anyway, I've never got a virus or spyware from a torrent because usually the groups that release stuff are dedicated pirates and I make sure the torrent's got a known group's tag, for example Deviance or Reloaded would be two such groups. The releases usually come with a *.nfo which comes with their custom ASCII art when you open with notepad or an NFO viewer, that's a good way of telling its legit stuff.

I would never leave the defence of my PC solely to Spybot. I also use AVG 8.5 (Anti virus and Anti Spyware), Windows Defender and Adaware 2008. But my first line of defence is avoiding these torrent sites like the plague. Surely you have a friend who's bought the game? Pop round and arrange a lengthy session on it, that way you can decide if you like it enough or not. That's what I did and decided that it's not a bad game. My main gripe with it is no mouse cueing, so it's just not that realistic: snooker is not about pressing buttons.
