just incase some of you didn't get replies from blades I want to share what I got. I decided to write a polite email and ask them about the situation and this is what I got.

    Hi gc,

Regarding your enquiry on our WSC2009 title we are pleased to inform you that the patch has been fully tested and submitted to Sony for approval/testing.
The patch will be released in a couple of weeks hopefully. As it's in Sony's hands at the moment we couldn't give a definate release date.

    Many thanks
    Craig Dobson
    Blade Interactive

lets hope this is true everyone : ) ..

From what I already know the above is correct BUT Sony can take their time to test the patch so my estimate would be more like 6-8 weeks before it is released not a couple.

Does that mean the patch is only about the DC-problems of the PS3 or are more problems fixed?

How delightful. But this doesn't do a damned thing about the PC version, does it?

then, bad luck to us pc users. really wish they will implement the save function in the "patch" they promised.

After a frame, quit the match. Ignore the message about losing your progress, you won't, provided you don't start playing around with your profile. If you want to play around with that, quit the game fully first and then go back in. You'll be able to alter your profile and then continue back to how the match was before you left by clicking 'next match'. I know, not ideal, but better than nothing huh?
