I have brought wcs 2007 a couple of weeks ago on ps2 as i needed a snooker game and have now ordered wcs 2009 for ps3. I am getting into it but i would like to know how and if you can make the potting arrows bigger. I really dont get confident enough taking some shots, as i take a risk and have failed half the time. I have to play very much defensively coz of this. I much prefer bigger potting arrows then positioning as i only won a frame once and lost 7 odd times lol. I would rather be better at making the arrows bigger so i get the pots. Is this possible? Despite being new to this, My highest break is 32, bit of a shambles really due to this lack of potting confidence on some of the balls. Can anyone help?

i don't remember seeing that option for making the arrows bigger. even though i play WSC 2009 on PC only, i believe the options will be the same as for PS3.

The lengthening and shortening of the arrows is related to the 'pressure' on the shot... Longer arrows = Less pressure, Shorteer arrows = More pressure... The secret is to get good position or take on shots that if you miss you will leave nothing easy, making it an easier shot, thus giving you longer arrows :snooker:
