    Thanks

What's the main skills needed for playing snooker out of the skills you have on the game.
        Thank you for your help

I don't think it's solely practise as I've played hundereds of games and I still get beat.

There must be a cheat code
          Thank you for your help

Don't worry too much I get beaten a loton these games too. on the early versions of this game I've found you can most of the time pot your way out of trouble with the newre versions 2005 up you can't simply do that you haqve to play more tactically and this generally takes practice generally the rule I tend to go wiuth now is if you don't think you'er going to get it in don't try just make sure you keep the ball safe and try and force your opponent into opening the balls for you if you can do that and then string a few pots together you may ge tmore success I managed to qualify for a couple of tournaments using this method and got to a semi final doing so as well you'll still losse games now and then but using this strategy generally keeps you in with a fighting chance

not as far as I know just keep practicing and try my idea's you may be more successful

and generally having a good idea of where the whiteball is going to end up is a good idea as well particularly when playing safety shots

I'm getting to the point of selling this game. As is doesn't seem possible to win anything. You can't pot in the middle bags in snooker unless it's slap bang in the middle and the aimer is not very good.

when potting in the centre pocket sometimes you have to plaqy them gently or they don't go in if that's any help

the midde pocket can be awkward to get balls innut adjusting the pace of the shot can make all the difference just be patint with it and you'll get your chance

Potting and positional play, just like the real game. Is the PC version easier than the console then? In a few weeks I was knocking in century after century even a couple of 147s. The game has pretty much zero long term playability tho so I sold it on, it's certainly not a hard game tho.

Thanks for that info. But as for it not being hard it's imposoible at times. the pc version would be esaier as it's got a mouse which you can do a proper aim using the senitivitity of it you can't with a pad.

i'm playing it on my pc and i've won every tournament there is and i'm ranked number 1. and i'm knocking centuries almost every frame! and my secret to success in wsc is this... if you don't have anything to pot, just stick the cue ball to the pack of reds or to some another red ball! the computer doesn't have any patience and after two or three tip tap shots he always plays some stupid shot and open things up or makes a foul! it works every time for me so try it! good luck

Absolutely, the steve davis break works wonders too, maybe that's where he got the idea from?

I presume you still get the overhead view on the console version? If so I don't see the difficulty.. line up in over head view no side at all... change the pace of the shot til you leave the next ball half ball.. and same again. If you increase the potting and position skills the aiming arrow becomes longer and the position circle more accurate to the point where you cant really miss. Agreed playing without aiming or position aims is impossible because you have no kind of perspective.

The only game even to have a cue line of sight perspective was virtual pool 3. If you played around with the zoom level and view angle you could just about make it look like you were down on the shot and see the angles clearly. The best cue sports game ever by a universe.. shame they didn't continue the series and make it look a little prettier.
