oh dear, not good news!!!!
after playing 08 for months on end, i was looking forward to 09!!!
picked it up on release and loaded it up........same menus, but in blue instead of red boxes?????........didn't really notice a faster loading time, but perhaps it was, just didn't notice?????.........ok........start game........oh menus the same as 08.........adjust settings...........all the same, but in blue instead of red as before?????????...........the graphics and players are exactly the same as 08, only the balls that are more shiny????????.......and the bahrain tournament added..........and finally playing.......waiting to enter the arena and the carpets, etc are now the same blue as menus instead of red in 08 as well......and yes the same camera movements, etc as 08 with exact same commentary????????

if it wasn't for the blue menu and bahrain tournament, you would think you had just purchased 08 again for an increased price. infact, i feel like i still have.
i was really pleased with blade on 08 as it was the first on wii, but comparing it to the 9 month old 08 is just crazy, or should i say lazy. forget 60 minute makeover, this feels like 60 second makeover.
i feel the only thing that would have persuaded people to spend the extra cash on this update after 9 months would have been online play and (NO) i'm afraid that wasn't even possible.
i am not going to stick up for blade this time as i feel that it was a bit of a cash in. i would have prefered they waited until next year when they had sorted issues out for online, etc and made it worth the wait.
if you have 08, just stick with it until it's worth spending more and if your thinking of getting this game to try, please save your money and get 08 for less!!!
