Getting skills but not ranking!

Hello! I am playing the game for a couple of weeks now! Athough, I manage to earn skills everytime I win it seems that I cannot go higher in world ranking apart from moving 52-->53-->51-->etc..52..I have set it to auto saving but I never managed to qualify to play more than one frame...? Is that a bug or I am not good enough to qualify!
P.S. How many frames do you need at least to qualify and play in a tournament with more than one frame? I am getting bored to be playing single frames only!

Hello, you need to qualify to some tournaments (and to win some matches there) to get a better position in the ranking. I won the world championship twice and I'm not higher ranked than position 33 ;-)

You can adjust how long a match should be, one "window" before you see your opponent. Your adjustment might be 25%, I reguarly play 50% (Best of three in the qualifiers, best of 5/7/9 in tournaments).

To get qualified to a tournament you have to beat three (?) players if you're ranked in the fifties.

I have set it in 25% but I think is not playing role on if you will qualify, instead pressing the action button you skip waiting to see the opponent playing (in gamepad or whatever...). However, I never won 3 matches in a row! I hope this is the case! Thanx again!

I'm doing really well at this game at the moment and yesterday I got to my first semi final when Stephen Hendry beat me 3-1. I'm getting high breaks now for most breaks I'm having and my positional play is improving as well as my long pot success which has somewhat improved as well.

But for a while I was always in the high 40's ranking, but last week due to qualifying for most of the tournaments, I think this is what has improved my ranking in the last week.

P.S. However, the spin is set automatically in the game play of this game does anyone how to have a reverse spin in a straight/line shot? I never managed to do this yet!

I'm not sure how to apply reverse spin either. All I tend to do is simply hit the cue ball hard or soft, whenever required. Come to think of it, I've never applied any spin in any of the previous World Snooker games either. John Virgo makes me laugh in commentary, he's always commenting on that I never apply any kind of spin and I have (apparently!) have a very unusual style of play

The commentary is awsome, but can be very wrong on quite a few shots, more notably the other day when John Virgo said I had ran out of position, when there was a clear pot on the pink on which I potted. Admitidly though after I potted the pink, I lost position for the next red

In my hobble opinion, the spin in most of the cases is right automatically set by the game regarding the shot power etc...However, sometimes when you need another spin you have not an option to do it! Is the only bug that I believe the company should/could fix in a future patch if will ever be one!!!

hi , yes 25% is best way , or its a brain drain , i have completed this game , but it takes about 3 - 4 seasons . have faith , keep going , u will get there ..... :snooker: all the best,,,, fozzer
