WSC Real 09 - Pain in Windows 7

I'm trying to install WSC Real 2009 under windows 7. The installer is crashing, with an error stating that it cannot write a certain file to the install directory, and asks me to check that I have the rights to write to that directory. After doing a bit of research, the game is supposed to have been able to be installed on the release candidate versions of Windows 7, but that is no longer the case. Any ideas of how to fix this?

Yep, just find the file that it won't write (it's the biggest file on the disc) and copy it to the directory yourself. That's what I did, and it works

The file being the .dat file. It's a pretty huge file. You just have to copy it onto your installation folder and that'll pretty much fix it.

Worked perfect for me.
