Golden Cue Tournament

I've only recently joined this forum so am not sure if this problem has been mentioned previously as it would take me a fair while to search through all the posts but I would appreciate if anyone has any help with the following problem on WSC Real 09 Goldencue. For some reason, upon entering the Goldencue tournament, the screen goes black and the game freezes and this happens every time, even with different copies of the game. Does anybody know why this is happening or if there is a glitch on the game? I have tried to contact the publishers but they have now gone bust!
