just reminds me of the geeks off the Simpsons!
I guess you lot dont get out as much as you should? Or indeed have to much contact with the opposite sex?

Says me who has an unhealthy obsession with long thin bits of timber!!!!
Its not how well you play its how good you look playing that counts!

The Internet gives all the geeks the opportunity to have at least theoretical and virtual contact to the other sex...
It is like a business consultant: He knows the complete Kamasutra but do not has a girlfriend.
I am confused... Oh wait... Maybe I'm not...

I'm certainly very involved with technology and have do/have done many things which people may find geeky (Eg, A few years back I went to the Linux Expo [Back when it was held in Birmingham]) but I don't think I will challenge Rob for the title

He seems very intent on "winning" it

It always works that way Up until about 6 months ago I was still using a 700 MHz rig that I built from bits and bobs friends were going to throw out... Still managed to do all of my Uni work on it including the usual office and programming etc

"Recently" I've "upgraded" again, to an equally poor box made up of old/unwanted components again...

As they say, it's not what you got, it's how you use it that matters

Somewhere in a dark corner in the attic I must have an
1984 Apple II Europlus with additional Z80 card, 64 kB main memory
and two 5 1/4" floppy disk drives with 143 kB capacity...
(OMG, such a lot of completely useless knowledge is still available in my mind... )
Maybe I should put that on ebay and spend the revenue on another cue.
I am confused... Oh wait... Maybe I'm not...
