I have just been down to the post office to enquire as to the effect of the new postal rates, which came into effect today, on my Almanac, which I have a few to post in the next few days.
It is quite a hefty thing at 136 A4 sheets, plus covers.
Previously, I could send one first class inland for £2:89, and two for £4:74. I could also send one copy of the Almanac and one set of Gazetteers, which are together 192 A4 sheets plus covers, for £4:74.
The results are that I can now send one Almanac for a bargain £1:31.
Two of them, or an Almanac and Gazetteers, are £4:94.
So I can send two in the same envelope for £4:94, or two in separate envelopes for £1:31 each.
Bravo for logic!
