You play a long slow deadweight red to a corner pocket. As it approaches the pocket, a kamikaze woodlouse crawls out from under the cushion and makes its way across the table, conflicting with the path of the red precisely at the point the red gets there. The red, needless to say, veers off course, and the future of the woodlouse is uncertain. - The Statman

                • Wouldn't 8.45-8.47 be "Spend 8 times with the wife"?

                    • Morning. Such a beautiful day. The birds are singing, the trees and flowers are swaying, the vermin are retreating and it makes me happy to be alive. Happy to be able to breath in the fresh autumn air and smile comforted in the knowledge that such mornings do exist and there is harmony and activity all around us. All we have to do is look. Now if you will excuse me I need endless cups of coffee and fags before I have to serve those b***ard argumentative, depressing customers.

                        • The health and safety at work act and provisions for employees act stipulates that employers must ensure there is an unrestricted supply of coffee for employees at all times so I suggest an employment tribunal. It could be fresh water though.
