hi, anybody suffer hand eczema here? my hands was in dry and crack condition, a chronic eczema been with me around 20years sometimes can't even hold a cue properly any speciallist recommendation? thanks
I used to be a chef and washing my hands upto 70 times a day got rid of it for me but after leaving the catering trade it all came back now I wash my hands with a anti-bac soap when ever I can, maybe 8 times a day and it stays away.
most people's eczema worsen because they scratch themselves when unconscious... if this is the case for you, get some help with medication. I used to tie my legs up (i had them on the legs). you have to stop yourself from scratching it, consciously or not.
be prudent with the type of soap you use.
most of the time its dryness-- keep your hands well moisturized.
seeking a Dermatologist's medical advice is the best solution IMO, some forms of allegy respond well to moisturinzing anti-allergic medications (they will stop the scratching, keep the area supple & treat it overtime)!!
Hi, stay away from steroid creams they will help you now but cause more problems years down the line. My advice is to buy vitamin E capsules pierce 1 with a needle and rub the oil into hands at night. Do a skin test on the inside of your arm first to see if you have a reaction. Trust me I'm a cleaner.
