I like night of the living dead and all the zombie films they have some kind of truth about them meaning we could all die from chemicals hazardous to our health... wow that was rather scientific...

I don't know, maybe something is wrong with me but horror movies make me laugh and laugh and laugh. Much more than comedies. I cannot help thinking of the fun the directors, actors etc must have had shooting these movies. I also find myself thinking about special effects. All that means that I can't "buy" the plot, the atmosphere etc or that I still haven't found the horror that could really make me "believe"..
My favourite in this category is Shining.Last edited by Mignon; 5 March 2008, 05:14 PM.Winner of the 2009 UK Championship Lucky Dip

...I tend to be the same as well with horrors, and find myself laughing out loud at the 'supposed' scary bits.
The only film that really made me feel a bit scared was 'The Nightmare on Elm Street' with Freddy Krueger. [Wouldn't admit this to my friends though, didn't want to come across as a wimp..]
And also enjoyed 'Halloween', and 'Jeepers Creepers'...
Lol....xxsigpic
