Germany played well against Portugal. Ronaldo is a great player but is he becoming the player who can't force decisions in difficult times and only can play well when the whole team is playing well? Like missing a penalty in the CL final and yesterday not able to dominate the game in a big tournament. Someone like Zidane for example could do all this.

As i said, Germany came too strong for Portugal. Portugal is a one man team. Block Ronaldo, and they are lost in space.
I have a strong feeling that todays match Turkey vs Croatia will be 0:0, with penalty shootout to decide the winer.

Yes, I agree Van Basten is immature in a tactical way. He should have anticipated the way Russia played in the last group match, but he does not have a clue. Well, Guus just mentioned it on dutch tele, he tactically out manoeuvred Holland.

I hope Italy will win it. will be the ultimate anti climax of this tournament. And I am pretty sure they will! Cooked some italian food today, Saltimbocca a la Romana.
