I thought id do a special prediction contest for the European Championships 2008
Heres how it works...for starters the group stages
Just predict how the groups will finish...if you get one of the group qualifiers you get 1pt and if you get both you get 2pts...if you get a teams exact position you 1pt

Then for the knockout stages its just 2pts for each correct scoreline or 1pt for correct winner of match with a bonus 1pt for predicting the winner of the tournament

Quarter Final
QF1:Winner of Group A vs Runner Up in Group B
QF2:Winner of Group B vs Runner Up in Group A
QF3:Winner of Group C vs Runner Up in Group D
QF4:Winner of Group D vs Runner Up in Group C

Semi Final
SF1:Winner of QF1 vs Winner of QF2
SF2:Winner of QF3 vs Winner of QF4

Final
F:Winner of SF1 vs Winner of SF2

Entries must be in by Friday 6th June at 10.30pm

Predict 1/2 qualifiers=1pt
Predict 2/2 qualifiers=3pts
Predict a teams correct position=3pts

And here is the scoring system for the quarters/semis/3rd place/final
4pts=correct winner and scoreline
2pt=correct winner only
1pt=amount of goals scored in the round
