Mac Chambers cue, Made by, or modified by ?

This looks to be sold as "made by", but the badge seems to contradict this ( modified for xxx by mac chambers )

or am I reading it wrong ?

Dont think you are reading it wrong . This cue would have a " customised by " badge if it was done by Parris or Coutts or Travis . I believe Mac did do alterations as well as making a cue from start to finish .If you look carefully on the j.pegs for the listing the Ebony on the butt ends abruptly and is then a Rosewood ( or similar ) blank in the lower part of the butt .This could have been a donor , reworked by Mac to use his quick release joints .I have a Mac Chambers , Rushden , 2000 cue , the joint is the same as used by L & W ( quick release ), but it is 100 % made by Mac , great players.
