I have a very special cue for sale. I bought it directly from a current snooker professional who is in the top 50 players. He used this cue for many years as his playing cue and it has made hundreds of century breaks, he even used it against me in practice once and got a 138!! He played with this cue at the Crucible. He bought this cue directly from Will Hunt and is a 3/4 joined, (Will Hunt) hand made, hand spliced maple shafted cue. It is exactly 58in long and is very powerful, I have witnessed the pro with this cue potting a ball down near the pink spot from baulk and screwing back into baulk. The cue still has the exact tip on it that was being used when it was still the pros playing cue...and it was the exact same tip brand that Ding Junhui was using at that time (about 3 years ago). Over the years the professional used John Parris for all his cue work (refitting ferrules etc) and the cue now has a 'John Parris Customised' badge but other than this it still has the original Will Hunt joint and mini butt and extending extension. The cue was originally 9.7mm tip but is now down to about 9.5mm, I will have to check to verify this exactly and the cue is also on the heavy side, around 20oz in weight.
I was going to 'ebay' this cue eventually but have decided to offer it to members of this forum first. I have taken some digital photos but have no idea how to post them with this ad.....if anyone is interested the please let me know and I can email you some pics. Or if anyone can post the pics for me then I would be obliged?
The cue is in absolutely perfect condition, amazing silk smooth maple shaft and the whole cue is as straight as can be. The butt is black ebony into tulip wood into black ebony.
Thanks,
Oldgit
