    No, he uses a Tom Newman cue, which was made by or on behalf of Peradon
    Similar to this, altho i believe his butt has been re-spliced and butt joint added.

                        Also would there be any chance of you taking some photos of the joint when u take photos of the Willie smith Tomorrow as I really am interested in the ye olde ash if it looks ok if not no problem it's just quite a trip for me up to Leeds

                              in my opinion grain matches very well, aparently when cue was converted to 3/4 dave at craftsman cues took a while to find the right shaft
