    August.

Of course seen as I was getting one JB had to have one too.

So I'll end up with 3, the Tony Ions 1 piece Ash which is my current playing cue, the maple I'm getting from JB and the TW when it comes. The TW should be the keeper as I'm pretty settled on my ideal specs so hopefully I get along with it. But might as well have some fun in the meantime!!

      Quote Gerry Armstrong.
A bit too dear for me as only £8 cheaper than brand new price direct from Craftsman with my own specs.

      Pay attention before butting in

It will be a good cue without doubt.

                Gerry:

As a matter of interest for me, what are your specs if you don't mind me asking. Ferrule, length, weight, balance point and butt diameter?

Sorry jaffa, your cue is too short and too light for me, but a nice looking 1-piece maple. Never tried a Craftsman cue. Use a Trevor White right now but will be getting a very high end LK.T inside a month to try that out

                  Terry
                  Length - 57.5in
                  Weight - 17.5oz
                  Ferule - 9.5mm
                  Butt Diameter - 29mm
                  Balance Point - 17in
Style - 1 piece with Traditional length butt (17-18 inches)
And always go for plain ebony butt if I'm ordering a cue.

                  In a word, standard!!

                    Gerry:

Almost identical to mine except I prefer slightly heavier at around 18.3oz maybe because I have to play tournaments on mostly really crappy slow tables most of the time.

I much prefer the lighter cue.

17oz is perfect for all shots. Again personal choice as this forum says everywhere lol

Nice cue but no butt joint? Any reason. Don't you like them?

                          Hi BigMeek,

I mainly play pool but playing more and more snooker looking to improve cue control for when playing pool.

I neither dislike or like the screw in so didnt see the point in paying the extra.

If the cue comes with one and a mini butt like mastercraft & dunns do then fine.

                          You interested in the beauty?

jaffa Really like the maple. Next cue I buy will be one-piece I think. Take your point about the butt joint. Really adds to the cost when you add on the extensions.

Who not buy this one piece maple.

Your next cue will be a maple one piece and I have a lovely one here ready for action.

Personally I dont think of anything other than a one piece, give or take on maple or ash, i prefer maple.

Thanks mate. Appreciate the offer but when I'm ready too buy I'll probably spend a bit more and get exactly the spec I want, ie, deffo Maple, most likely one-piece, slightly longer, slightly heavier and 10mm tip. Would deffo have a butt joint fitted which was same as my existing extensions.
