WANTED.Still trying to chase up a barracuda old masters from anywhere

  • #2
Beware of imitation OLD Masters. Good copies from China were made of crap materiels. I was a major distributor of Barracuda and very many went to the Perth area in the early 80's. I have a lovely original in my collection. Amazingly a guy is coming to buy one off me tomorrow. If I find another I'll let you know. F.

I have a Barracuda Old Masters 3/4 Ash Cue which I've owned for nearly 20 years, lovely condition. As I've not played the game for over 5 years so I maybe interested in any sensible offers for it. It also comes with a Red Leather Cheddar Classic 3/4 Cue Case (Red Suede & White Leather inside) if required.

Frank i bought a old master off you a few years ago. Im one of scott millers friends. it was a 3/4 length with telescopic extention and mini butt. Would this have been a cheap chinese one or would it had been a proper barracuda old master?

Hi. Baldy, That Old Master would have been English made but was a second edition cue made after Barracuda changed it's original management. I never sold the cheap Asian version. F.

i was never on the coaching school. but i know most ppl who were like scott, jimmy, neal gozzet, curtus and the likes. Ive played on your table a couple of times. I went and did reffereing for a bit and did my exam with derek. I havent been to the castle club since the revamp. last time i was there was before there open tournament last year when they were renovating upstairs. when i ws young i used to get taught by if i remember his name correctly harold at the connaught club in worthing. that was before he sadly passed on and the club shut for a while.

Hi I have an Old Masters Barracuda cue. It used to belong to a Mr Riley who played in the ashton & wigan district league, before he sold it Mr Ashcroft who sold it to me. So if you want to buy an excellent original cue drop me an email markward70@hotmail.com and we can arrange somthing.

                              thanks
